Toolkit: Mercury and Air Toxics Standards
This toolkit is designed to help you take action to protect the strengthened Mercury and Air Toxics Standard (MATS). On June 11, 2025, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin proposed rolling back these critical protections—part of a broader agenda that prioritizes polluters over public health. We must speak out again to stop this reversal and defend the rule we fought for.
There are two ways you can take action:
- Provide your own written comments here. Written comments are due by August 11th.
- Share this toolkit with five colleagues. The more people who submit public comments rooted in health and evidence, the more likely we are to save this rule.
Toolkit: Carbon Pollution Standards
This toolkit is designed to help you take action to the carbon pollution standards for power plants. On June 11, 2025, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), under Administrator Lee Zeldin, announced a proposal to repeal federal standards that limit carbon pollution from power plants. These standards, finalized during the previous administration, were intended to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions from one of the nation’s largest sources of climate pollution.
