Tracey L. Henry, M.D., MPH, MS, FACP, Associate Professor of Medicine, Director, Emory EMPACT Program, and Thread Director for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Racial Advocacy at the Emory University School of Medicine, presented “Climate Change and Health Equity: The Problem and Steps Forward” at University of Louisville Department of Medicine Grand Rounds on September 8, 2022. Dr. Henry’s talk focused on defining climate change, discussing climate changes and its effects on health equity, reviewing specific climate change issues as it relates to internal medicine, and discussing recommendations for addressing climate change.
Dr. Henry states, “I like to say that the climate health history is really sort of a part of a nice robust social history.”
