Oct 14-18, 2019 – Harvard Certificate Program: Media and Medicine, How to Tell Stories that Make a Difference

 October 14-18, 2019  |  Boston, MA

Do you want to tell stories that make a difference?
In Harvard’s newest certificate program, Media and Medicine, How to Tell Stories that Make a Difference, course participants will design and develop a story-telling project to address the seemingly intractable health challenges facing the world.

Led by faculty directors Neal Baer, a pediatrician, television writer and producer and Suzanne Koven, primary care physician and Writer in Residence at Massachusetts General Hospital, this not-to-be-missed, two-part media intensive will give you the tools you need to succeed in telling your health-related story.

During the first workshop, you will participate in a series of modules led by Harvard faculty, writing industry experts and health care professionals. Our module presenters will tackle real-world challenges within health and media to both inspire and prepare you to take action on your own story. You will leave the first workshop ready to develop your pitch into a polished project with the help of your Harvard advisor. Participants will reconvene in Boston in the spring to present your project to your newly acquired network of like-minded storytellers.

Space in this program is limited. We highly encourage applicants to apply early. REGISTER NOW!
