Climate change is profoundly harming human health around the world, yet in many places, climate policy and health policy remain siloed. This special issue from the Journal of Climate Change and Health investigates whether and how climate policy and health policy can be advantageously integrated to better protect both human health and the climate. Possible topics include (though are not limited to):
- Considering health in climate policymaking and vice versa
- Mutual benefits of climate and health policy
- Introducing a climate and health lens into related policy areas such as agriculture, energy, emergency management, transportation, and housing and urban development
- Communication and advocacy strategies related to climate and health policies
