The 2021 Lancet Countdown U.S. Brief will be released on October 21, 2021. Join the conversation with three pediatricians who were on the writing team to discuss key findings, and using this recent dataset to advocate for children’s health in a changing climate.

Aaron Bernstein, MD, MPH: The Interim Director of The Center for Climate, Health, and the Global Environment at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (Harvard Chan C-Change), a pediatrician at Boston Children’s Hospital, and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.

Lisa Patel, MD, MESc: Previously the co-chair for the American Academy of Pediatrics Advocacy Committee, California Chapter 1 (AAP-CA1), co-founder of the Climate and Health task force for AAP-CA1, and sits on the Executive Committee for the AAP’s national Council on Environmental Health.

Becca Philipsborn, MD, MPA: Practices primary care pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She is the Director for Climate, Health Education, and Clinical Partnerships for the Resilience and Sustainability Collaboratory, Director of the Pediatrics Global Health Track, and Associate Director of the Pediatric Clerkship.
