The Global Consortium on Climate and Health Education (GCCHE) at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health is hosting an upcoming Lancet Countdown regional event titled, Harnessing the Lancet Countdown for Clinical and Public Health Practice. Join them for a 90-minute interdisciplinary panel which explores how to apply findings of the Lancet U.S. Policy Brief to multiple fields of health practice.

The GCCHE’s vision is to ensure all health professionals are trained on the health impacts of climate change by supporting curriculum development, education and coordinated activities among members. The event is being led by Dr. Cecilia Sorensen, Director of the GCCHE, and has received commitment from the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments (ANHE) to provide Continuing Education (CE) for the event.
