July 27 Webinar – Accelerating a Transition to Zero-Emission Transportation

Accelerating a Transition to Zero-Emission Transportation

Wednesday, July 27, 2022 | Virtual | 2:00 PM ET

On August 5th, 2021 the Biden Administration signed an Executive Order that set an ambitious new target to make half of all new vehicles sold in 2030 zero-emissions vehicles. Since this Executive Order, the United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency have made great progress in aligning clean car standards with this target. However, with emissions from the transportation sector being the largest source of carbon pollution in the country, it is critical that progress doesn’t stop there.

Clean car standards are one of the most effective ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and toxic air pollutants. Which is why the Biden Administration must swiftly move forward with long-term clean car standards by the end of this year. Join the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments on Wednesday July 27th at 2 pm ET for a Facebook Live event featuring air pollution and health experts as they discuss the connection between clean cars and public health and share what is needed to ramp up zero-emission technology requirements for all types of vehicles.
