An action is being organized by Doctors for Extinction Rebellion (XR) in Switzerland, on Saturday May 29th.
The XR Doctors will gather, march to the WHO headquarters, and Dr. Tedros and members of the WHO climate team will welcome them. The XR Doctors will give Dr. Tedros a letter and a gift. The signs they will carry will have quotes from WHO itself about climate change. Editor-in-chief of The Lancet, Richard Horton, will address them virtually. This will take place during the World Health Assembly, and their message is aimed at health leaders.
