As informed and trusted individuals, health professionals play a critical role in addressing the
health impacts of climate change with patients, communities, and public leaders. In the training,
attendees will:
- Learn about key health and health equity impacts from climate change and co-benefit solutions for climate change, health, and equity
- Discuss challenges and opportunities for confronting the climate crisis in the San Joaquin Valley
- Gain hands-on practice in skills for media engagement and policymaker education on climate and health issues
This training is FREE and open to all health professionals, with options to attend full or half-day
sessions. Breakfast, lunch, and follow up support for action are included at no additional cost.
