September 23 – NorCal Symposium on Climate, Health, Equity

We are excited to convene the third annual NorCal Symposium for Climate, Health, and Equity on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 12pm to 5pm.

Climate change is a health risk multiplier, disproportionately impacting communities made vulnerable by racism and poverty. Come learn from leaders in the field how communities are preparing and what role health professionals can play in effective partnership.

12 noon- 1pm: Welcome, Introductory notes, and Keynote address
The keynote speaker will be Heather McMullen, Ph.D., a research and advocacy expert on gender, sexual and reproductive rights, International Planned Parenthood Federation and WHO. “The intersection of climate change, reproductive rights, and global health equity”
