Although our monthly climate and health equity webinar series has concluded for this year, we are pleased to announce that we are hosting a special surprise webinar: “Grant Writing 101: From RFP To Review”
This webinar will cover the topic of grant writing and feature the Director of the CHEF Fellowship, Dr. Mark Mitchell, and the Co-Program Manager of the CHEF Western Cohort, Jordan Curry Carter. Dr. Mitchell will address how to find appropriate foundations, decide whether your idea matches their goals, what’s in a Request For Proposal (RFP), and how to identify potential funders for applications and decide which funders are most appropriate to apply for a grant with. Jordan will approach the topic and process from a grantor’s perspective and discuss how the grantor evaluates and select recipients and what types of aspects they consider and look for in their evaluation and selection process.
