Washington, DC Registration is now open for Our Planet, Our Health: 2025 Climate Action Convention, one of the largest events to date focused on planetary health and climate action. Join our coalition in Washington, DC, from March 1-4, 2025, for this pivotal gathering of health professionals committed to driving progress toward a healthier, more sustainable, and just future.

“We are thrilled to bring together a diverse coalition of organizations to host this transformative event,” said Lisa Patel, Executive Director of the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health. “By working together, we can amplify the urgency of this movement and drive meaningful action to protect the health of our communities and our planet.”

The program is being developed in partnership with the American Lung Association, American Public Health Association, ecoAmerica, Kaiser Permanente, The Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health, the National Academy of Medicine, Physicians for Social Responsibility, and the Planetary Health Alliance.

The event will be hosted at two prestigious locations: the National Academy of Medicine on March 1-3, and the Planetary Health Alliance Hopkins Bloomberg Center on March 4. Virtual attendance will also be available. All registrants can sign up for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits, making this event an invaluable opportunity for professional growth.

Over the first two days, attendees will participate in dynamic sessions and workshops to arm them with the knowledge, skills, and tactics to be effective voices for change. Topics include combating misinformation, organizing for change on a state and local level, addressing plastic pollution, healthcare decarbonization, and much more. The event will culminate on March 4 with optional visits to Capitol Hill, giving participants the chance to bring the climate and health message directly to their elected officials.
