Supporting Our Community and Strengthening Our Resolve Post-Election

From the time of the Consortium’s founding to this moment, we’ve worked tirelessly to communicate the health harms of climate change and the health benefits of transitioning off fossil fuels and toward renewable sources of energy. We are proud to have worked in coalition with so many organizations across the country to notch significant victories for health: more states with clean energy goals, regulations built on evidence-based recommendations to protect health, and programs on a local and state level to help communities adapt to climate threats.

Our deep caring for others is our superpower. We do this work because this generation and all the generations to come deserve to breathe clean air, have access to clean water, and live in beautiful green places full of hope, peace, and community. We will keep building on our accomplishments, undeterred by setbacks and focused on creating a future that prioritizes health, equity, and justice. We will continue showing up in the halls of power, in our places of work, and with our healthcare leaders to advocate for the solutions we need.

Together, we will redouble our efforts, strengthen our resolve, and deepen our connections, remaining steadfast in our commitment to advocate for communities and champion meaningful action. We are deeply grateful for this community of passionate change-makers, whose purpose and unwavering commitment inspire us to face the challenges ahead and bring our vision of a fair and healthy world to life.
