Dr. Keisha R. Callins is a physician leader with Community Health Care Systems, a federally qualified health center (FQHC) network, and provides women’s health services in rural and underserved areas of Central Georgia. Dr. Callins is a Professor in the Department of Community Medicine and the Joy McCann Endowed Professor at Mercer University School of Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia; Master’s in Public Health degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Public Health; Doctor of Medicine degree from Morehouse School of Medicine and graduate medical training at Morehouse School of Medicine OB/GYN Residency Program at Grady Memorial Hospital. She is an alternate delegate to the American Medical Association and a Georgia Climate Champion. Her personal mission statement is, “You may not be able to change the world, but you can change the world of everyone with whom you interact”.
