Riya Ghotra is a rising sophomore at George Mason University’s Honors College, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science. In 2023, Riya joined the Consortium team as a communications intern, where she manages social media pages, supports content creation, and focuses on research to better understand current climate and health issues. She has been honored with the Michelle Litwiller Memorial Award for her outstanding performance as a first-year student. In the future, Riya aspires to use her expertise to break down equity barriers and develop innovative solutions for her community.
