Annual Meeting 2024

Thank you to everyone who joined the Consortium and its partners in person and virtually for the 2024 Annual Meeting: From the Clinic to the Capitol.

We heard the common messages from our speakers that the health voice is trusted and powerful, that we must work closely and intentionally with frontline communities, and that collective action is critical for powering the movement forward. We hope that you are feeling empowered and energized to take action in this pivotal year.

A few highlights included:

  • Keynote addresses by Mustafa Santiago Ali and Julia Olson, along with video remarks from Stacey Abrams and Representative Kathy Castor.
  • Over 20 panel sessions, presentations, and hands-on workshops on climate change, health, and equity
  • 145 advocates representing 30 different states participated in 140 meetings with Senate and House offices about stronger pollution standards
