Health & Climate Rapid Response Media Team
The Medical Society Consortium on Climate & Health hosts the Health & Climate Rapid Response Media Team, a team of media-trained doctors and health professionals based around the United States who can speak about how climate change impacts their patients’ health and actions that can improve health and address climate change.
These doctors are available on short notice to help journalists and their audiences understand the connections between climate change and the ways it harms their health—and the importance of solutions that address both. To be connected with a member of the Rapid Response Media Team, please contact Anna Chen at consortiummedia@burness.com.
Climate Communications Champions
Along with its partner Burness, the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health led a training series to help health professionals sharpen their communication and advocacy skills. Out of this training emerged a cohort of diverse, knowledgeable health voices ready to engage with the media and convey the importance of addressing climate change with equitable, health-focused solutions. To be connected with any of the climate communications champions below, please contact consortiummedia@burness.com.
A green box indicates a Distinguished Climate Communications Champion, an individual who has completed multiple trainings.
