*Gifts to the Medical Consortium on Climate and Health, a program of Mason’s Center for Climate Change Communication, are received through the George Mason University Foundation, Inc. (GMUF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. GMUF was established in 1966 to receive, manage, invest, and administer private gifts, including endowment and real property for the benefit of George Mason University.

Become a Member

As a health professional, you understand climate change to be a profound crisis of health and equity for this and future generations. By joining us as a member, the Consortium can help you become a powerful advocate. We, in turn, benefit from a large and strong network of members who can help us support the advocacy, education, and resources to catalyze climate action.

Your benefits of membership include:

    • Discounted registration for the Annual Meeting
    • Electronic branded image files, including a Zoom background and greeting cards with messaging on climate and health to raise awareness within your community*
    • The satisfaction that comes with taking this meaningful step of declaring yourself part of our community of advocates. You will also be showing your much-appreciated trust in the Consortium to grow its capacity to achieve our shared mission for a healthy, sustainable, and just world.

As we build this movement, every dollar matters and every new member helps power us forward. There are suggested levels of giving we provide, but we are grateful for any level of support.

We encourage monthly giving when possible. If every person who subscribed to our newsletter donated $10 per month, we could hire a full-time policy expert to build bold coalition-based agendas on climate and health, fully fund our advocacy efforts to make health care sustainability mission-critical throughout the country, and launch a climate, health, and equity certificate program grounded in concrete communications and advocacy skills. Every bit donated helps us get there.

Suggested levels of giving:

    • Students/Trainees: $25 (annually)
    • Early Career Health Professional (0-10 years in practice): $120 one time or $10/month
    • Later Career Health Professional (10 years+ in practice): $240 one time or $20/month

*The Consortium receives a list of new members on a monthly basis from George Mason, so our communication with you as a new member may be delayed. If you would like to receive your electronic branded images sooner, please email info@ms2ch.org.
