Day 1 – February 11, 2024

Specialties are considering how best to integrate climate change into patient encounters and visits. With limited time during clinical encounters, how this information gets integrated for maximum impact is an area of active development. This workshop discusses the challenges and barriers along with the opportunities to integrate climate counseling into our patient visits using an equity frame. It aims to produce a framework or roadmap that can be used by practitioners to guide further research on high-impact opportunities to best protect vulnerable patients from the health harms of climate change.
