Decarbonizing New Jersey’s Health Care Sector
Thursday, October 20, 2022 | Virtual | 7:00 – 9:00 PM ET
By generating 8.5% of our national carbon pollution emissions, the U.S. health care sector excessively contributes to the increasingly severe health impacts of climate change. If the sector was a country, it would rank 13th globally for greenhouse gas emissions. This needs to change.
DURING THE 2-HOUR EVENT, YOU WILL:
- Learn about how hospitals drive down their greenhouse gas emissions
- Hear case studies from health systems – including how systems make decisions about why and how to change
- Learn how health professionals successfully advocate to do more
This event is presented by Clinicians for Climate Action New Jersey and Health Care Without Harm
