2023 Annual Meeting Advocates
As part of our 2023 Annual Meeting, advocates gathered in Washington, D.C., on March 21st for meetings with their elected officials. They made their trusted voices heard for stronger air quality standards that protect the health of their patients, their communities, and the planet.
Representing 14 different states, these climate champions visited over 60 House and Senate offices. They asked members to sign a Dear Colleague letter urging the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to follow the science and set robust health-protective standards for PM pollution.
We are deeply grateful to this powerful network of advocates for their energy and commitment to a healthier and more equitable world for all people. With tremendous opportunities in front of us for action within our states, Congress, and federal agencies like the EPA, this is truly our moment to seize.
