The American Psychiatric Association’s fall Institute on Psychiatric Services is in New Orleans, October 19th – 22nd, 2017
Presentations will include two sessions on climate change and mental health:
- Oct. 20: 90 minute workshop on the impact of increased temperature on mental health, “Sickly Hot”
- Oct. 21: 3 hour symposium with a broader overview of climate change and mental health, entitled “Climate Change, the Ultimate Social Determinant of Health and Mental Health.”
