C. Freeman, MD, MBA, FAPA, is a board-certified psychiatrist dedicated to enhancing lives through top-

Specializing in adult and geriatric psychiatry for underserved populations, she is nationally recognized for her diverse roles as an educator, clinical services innovator, elder abuse expert, graduate medical education strategy consultant, healthcare administrator, and medical leader. With degrees from Howard University and an MBA from Pepperdine University, Dr. Freeman’s unique background includes training in internal medicine and psychiatry at the University of Virginia, diversity and inclusion, and functional psychiatry. Awarded for her contributions, she made history as the first African American President of the Los Angeles County Medical Association and held key positions in medical associations.
