Joniqua Ceasar is originally from Houston, Texas and is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine. She is a primary care physician who trained in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins Urban Health Residency. After residency, she will obtain further training in health policy and research as a National Clinician Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania. She is interested in using mixed methods to explore the relationship between neighborhoods and health, especially as it relates to structural racism, environmental justice, the built environment, and climate change. When she isn’t in clinic you can find her hiking with friends, browsing in a thrift store, or planning her next trip overseas.
