A results-driven and innovative leader with over 20 years of experience in organization and leadership development, operations management, strategic planning, and project execution, Kimberly Williams possesses a proven track record of streamlining processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving organizational growth through strategic initiatives. Adept at directing cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, Kimberly directs research, fiscal management, and program facilitation for MSCCH Operations and the Fellowship programs.
Kimberly collaborates to develop strategic plans, set performance goals, and formulate short and long-term operational functions. This involves partnering with internal and external teams, directors, program managers, partner associations, and organizations to create comprehensive opportunities with distinct strategies. Through building and maintaining relationships and coalitions for the MSCCH, Kimberly seeks to create spaces and platforms for mutual decision-making and dialogue that are inclusive and accessible, fostering a sense of belonging, engages associations and organizations that support and contribute to empowering doctors under-represented populations in medicine and health professionals from communities facing greater environmental burdens, to engage and intervene on behalf of those who need trusted voices most. These efforts include educating leaders in climate and health impacts, advocacy, and equitable solutions.
Through the initial design and development, Kimberly’s work includes the enhancement of the Climate and Health Equity Fellowship (CHEF), the Policy Experience in Equity Climate and Health (PEECH) fellowship, the CHEF Alumni Education Network (CAEN) and similar programs to provide expertise on development, design, content, and communication on initiatives and activities.
Before joining the MSCCH, Kimberly managed her own consulting firm, working with the National Medical Association, Abbott Laboratories, American University, and Fox News.
Kimberly holds a PhD in Organization and Management, a master’s degree in public communications from The American University, and a bachelor’s degree in communications from George Washington University. With a focus on spiritual and mental wellness, Dr. Williams is a certified facilitator of Mental Health First Aid™ and Conflict Resolution. She enjoys international travel with her family.
